Shanmukh Swaroop Srinivas is a highly motivated and skilled Software Engineer Intern currently working at JP Morgan. He is seeking internship opportunities for Summer and Fall 2021. Shanmukh has a strong background in computer science and has demonstrated expertise in software engineering, machine learning, web development, and data analysis. During his internship at JP Morgan, Shanmukh collaborated with a team of 25 people to develop a React.js based web application to visualize employee work progress. He also designed a supervised machine learning model with 99.73% prediction accuracy to forecast bank balances as part of JP Morgan Chase's Global Hackathon. Shanmukh successfully productionized both projects during his internship. Prior to his current position, Shanmukh worked as Head of Web Operations Team at Chemical Engineering Society, IIT Madras, where he launched the website for CHEMPLUS, the Chemical Engineering Department Fest. He managed a team of 5 developers to create a portal for smooth registration of events, which resulted in a 50% increase in footfall for the fest from the previous year. Shanmukh also worked as a Software Engineer Intern at Real Tycoon, where he analyzed real estate data from a city and devised an algorithm to find the best location with minimal living costs, sought facilities, and the best value for money. He also designed and developed a dynamic and modern website for a digital marketing agency, incorporating Javascript, jQuery, PHP, and MySQL. Shanmukh is currently pursuing his Master of Science in Computer Science from the University of Massachusetts, Amherst, and has a Bachelor of Technology in Chemical Engineering from IIT, Madras. His technical skills include software engineering, machine learning, Javascript, web development, ReactJS, PHP, and MySQL.
